FAQs
Do you provide the alcohol?
No. We are a "Dry Hire" rental service. This means we provide the pub, the draft equipment, and the atmosphere, but the Renter is responsible for purchasing all beverages (kegs, bottles, or cans). This allows you to choose exactly what you want to serve and saves you from the markups typical of traditional catering.

How do the beer taps work?
2
Our pub is equipped with a commercial-grade, multi-tap draft system. When we deliver the unit, we will professionally hook up your kegs, calibrate the CO2 pressure, and test the pour to ensure it’s perfect before we leave. All you have to do is pull the handle!
What kind of power do I need?
3
The Wandering Irishman runs off our dedicated, whisper-quiet inverter generator. No need to worry about long extension cords or tripped breakers!
How many people fit inside?
While every party is different, our pub comfortably accommodates 12–15 guests inside at one time. However, the pub acts as a focal point for the entire party; most hosts set up high-top tables or outdoor seating around the trailer to create a full "Beer Garden" effect for larger crowds.
4
Do I need a liquor license for my party?
5
For private events on private property (like a backyard birthday or wedding), a liquor license is generally not required because you are not "selling" alcohol to the public. However, we always recommend checking your local municipal codes, especially for corporate or public-facing events.
Is there a bathroom inside?
No. To maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and to maximize the social space for your guests, the Wandering Irishman does not contain restrooms.
6
What happens if it rains?
The pub is a fully enclosed, weather-protected structure! It’s the perfect sanctuary from a passing shower. In the event of extreme weather (high winds or lightning), we reserve the right to reschedule for safety, but generally, the party goes on inside the pub regardless of the clouds.
7
How much space do I need for delivery?
8
We need a relatively level surface (driveway, pavement, or firm grass) and enough room for our truck to maneuver. The unit is approximately 8ft wide and 28ft long. We will discuss placement with you during the booking process to ensure a smooth "landing."
